MuseumMobile is a forum for conversations about mobile interpretation – media & technology – for museums and cultural sites. MuseumMobile is managed by Nancy Proctor.
The Media and Technology Committee is a Standing Professional Committee of the American Association of Museums. In order to become a member, you or your institution must already be or become a member of AAM. You can use AAM’s application form to add Media and Technology membership to your AAM membership, or to join AAM with a Media and Technology membership added to your application.

Erfgoed 2.0 is een weblog en kenniscentrum over e-Cultuur en Web 2.0 toepassingen voor de erfgoedsector opgericht door Theo Meereboer i.s.m. studenten van de Reinwardt Academie, waar hij docent e-Cultuur, crossmedia communicatie en nieuwe media (web 2.0) is. Als freelance consultant (Commidea) adviseert hij erfgoed instellingen en realiseert hij Web 2.0 concepten.
DEN is het nationale kenniscentrum voor ICT in het cultureel erfgoed.
Missie. DEN bevordert en bewaakt de kwaliteit van digitalisering en digitale dienstverlening door de erfgoedsector (archieven, musea, bibliotheken met bijzondere collecties, archeologische en bouwhistorische instellingen). DEN investeert in kennisontwikkeling op het gebied van open ICT-standaarden en andere landelijke kwaliteitsprincipes voor duurzame digitalisering. Ook stimuleert DEN de erfgoedinstellingen te innoveren en hun diensten aan te passen aan de eisen van de digitaliserende samenleving.

ICOM is the international organisation of museums and museum professionals which is committed to the conservation, continuation and communication to society of the world’s natural and cultural heritage, present and future, tangible and intangible.
Created in 1946, ICOM is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) maintaining formal relations with UNESCO and having a consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council.
The MuseumMobile wiki is an outgrowth of Tate’s Handheld Conference Wiki, which was initially developed for a September 2008 conference hosted by Tate Modern. It is a free public wiki and continues to grow as a repository for resources, best practice, and conversation about mobile interpretation and technologies for museums and cultural sites. Currently it includes the project pages for the Museums to Go open source/open platform mobile development project. Other pages will be added as new projects develop!
